Spinning the Web – SFV update day 2020

Please join us for Stopping Family Violence’s update day in 2020. This year we will be focusing on the importance of a web of accountability and the role each organisation/ person plays in helping to spin the web. We will have presentations from a number of partners who all have a different part, but equally important part to play in the process to keep women and children safe from violence and help to hold perpetrators to account.

We encourage participation from anyone who comes into contact with perpetrators of FDV, those experiencing FDV or are at risk of, violence. Regardless of how long you may have contact with adult or child victim-survivors or perpetrators you are an important part of the systems and of developing the “web” which enables women’s services and perpetrator intervention services to keep women and children safe.

During the day we will also be touching on the implications of COVID-19 for our sector and how it has changed the environment within which we deliver services and how we work.

Our update days are designed to be as interactive as possible so we encourage anyone attending to come along ready to contribute and participate in discussions.

More information on the agenda will be released closer to the event. To keep up to date on the event, and other training offered by Stopping Family Violence subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Facebook.
